Kazakhstan launched the Alem Crypto Fund, a state-backed strategic crypto reserve managed by Qazaqstan Venture Group under the AIFC. The fund begins with a BNB purchase in partnership with Binance, aiming to build long-term digital asset reserves for national strategic purposes. Though not a central bank reserve, it marks Kazakhstan’s first formal state vehicle for crypto accumulation and ecosystem development.
